N1 Partners at AffHub: Bringing Insights, Real Talk, and Energy to Warsaw.

The AffHub Affiliate Aggregator Conf in Warsaw brought together affiliates, networks, and product teams from across the iGaming industry. N1 Partners was right in the mix, taking part in panels, networking, and interactive session with limited merch pack’s giveaway.

Representing the company on stage was N1 Partners Affiliate Manager Victoria Sokolenko with her talk, “Switching Lanes: From Business Development to Affiliate Management in iGaming”. 

Viktoria shared her personal story: how she entered the industry, made the shift to managing affiliates on the product side at N1 Partners, and how she sees the field today.

Main tips that will help to revamp

- In every GEO, the realities are different, and copy-paste won’t cut it; local player habits and payment models matter.
- When a partner comes with a “hot” request, the best move is to find a way to say “yes, but here’s how it works correctly”, and make sure the agreement is fixed in writing.
- Having a backup set of creatives or an alternative traffic flow is a must-have, especially during seasonal peaks or platform updates.
- And if conversions dip for the week, silence is the worst option: a quick call and an honest update about what changed and what’s being tested next always works better than leaving a partner guessing.

Her gist was clear: every lane change requires new skills, while the real tools of success are flexibility, fast adaptation, and open communication.

" When you’re in a network, speed and trust are everything. On the product side, you suddenly live in numbers, funnels, and feedback loops. What doesn’t change is the need to keep partners close and build long-term trust”, – Victoria said.

Easy, but steadily communication tips

1. A quick call: 3-5 minutes instead of 30 messages.
2. Clearly explain: what changed, what’s already been tested, and what’s next.
3. Offer two options: switch the product / adjust the angle / pause the GEO / check tracking.
4. Send a short written recap: don’t let silence fill with assumptions.

Tools to use on a daily basis

1. A lightweight CRM or organized notes.
2. Scheduled messages and reminders.
3. A weekly partner loop: Diagnose → Co-design → Iterate → Recap.

 

Live Case Challenge

The second half of the session turned into a live case challenge. Victoria put the audience in the shoes of an affiliate manager with the following challenge.

A partner delivers a large volume of traffic but complains that the conversion to deposit is lower than expected. They demand compensation or a higher rate. At the same time, the product itself is performing well, and the issue may lie in their creatives or traffic source.

Participants came up with solutions ranging from joint A/B-testing of creatives and landing pages to short-term bonuses and shifting focus to other GEOs. The discussion was lively, and the winner left the stage with branded N1 Partners merch devoted to N1 Puzzle Promo activity.
